Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27mm, 17.06 g 11), 'Pella', c. 325-315. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔΡOΥ Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and, in his right, eagle standing right with closed wings; below throne, Θ. Price 214. Minor deposits. Scratch on cheek and graffito on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
