Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17mm, 4.11 g), c. 301/0-300/299. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, head of lion above crescent; below throne, pentagram. Price 1832. Nicely toned. Very fine.
