2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 20mm, 3.29 g 12), imitating Philip III of Macedon. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠOΥ (somewhat blundered) Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and, in his right, eagle standing right with closed wings; to left, monogram. Göbl OTA pl. 45, 591/2 var. Lanz 939. A nicely struck and well-preserved example. Good very fine.
