Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16mm, 3.70 g 6), Susa, c. 325-320. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔΡOΥ Zeus seated on backless throne, his left leg and torso facing front, his head, right arm and right to left; holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to left and below throne, monogram. Price 3837. Nicely toned. Good very fine.
