Perseus, 179-168 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16mm, 2.65 g 7), third Macedonian War issue, on the Rhodian standard, from an uncertain mint in Thessaly under Hermias, c. 171/0. Head of Helios facing slightly to right. Rev. EPMIAΣ Rose with bud to right; Z-Ω flanking stem. Price, Larissa, pl. LV, 247. SNG Keckman 795. Tiny flan fault on forehead and minor horn silver deposits on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
