Late 2nd-1st century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33mm, 16.58 g 6), imitating Thasos. Celticized wreathed head of Dionysos to right. Rev. Celticized Herakles standing facing, holding club and lion skin; ribbed and dotted imitative legend. Göbl OTA pl. 48/49, Klasse V. Lanz 983-994. Attractively toned and well struck on a wavy flan. About extremely fine.
