Thessalian League. Circa 150-100 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18mm, 4.15 g 12), Gauana and Poly... Laureate head of Apollo to right; to left, ΓAYANA. Rev. ΘΕΣΣΑΛΟΝ / Π - Ο / Λ - Υ Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear held in her right hand, shield on her left arm. BCD 819. A nice coin, lightly toned. Good very fine.
