Larissa. Circa 400 BC. Obol (Silver, 13mm, 0.95 g 6). Horse walking right, border of dots. Rev. ΛΑΡ-ΙΣΑ The nymph Larissa standing facing, head turned to left, in her bent right arm her hand holds a ball, her left hand leans gracefully on her waist; all in shallow incuse square. BCD 168. Herrmann p. 22, group III b, pl. III, 9. Harshly cleaned and struck somewhat off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
