The Galatians. After 268 BC (?). Drachm (Silver, 20mm, 3.94 g 6), imitating a Drachm of Alexander III from Magnesia. Celticized head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝ Celticized Zeus seated on backless throne to left, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; before, Λ within wreath. Cf. Lanz 153, 2011, 12 (different style). Sharp and clear. Good extremely fine.
