Thebes. Circa 425-395 BC. Stater (Silver, 21mm, 12.17 g). Boeotian shield. Rev. Θ Ε Bearded head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. BCD Boiotia 437-438 var. SNG Copenhagen 284. An attractive, bright coin. Some die faults on obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
