Athens. Circa 430s BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25mm, 17.13 g 6). Head of Athena to right, wearing disc earring, pearl necklace and a crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and a spiral palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing to right, head facing the viewer; to left, olive sprig and crescent moon; all within incuse square. Agora 8. Trésor pls. 12-13 passim. Good very fine.
