Alyattes II to Kroisos, circa 610-546 BC. Trite (Electrum, 12mm, 4.73 g), Sardes. Head of lion to right, with open jaws and with a sun and rays on its forehead. Rev. Two incuse squares. SNG Kayhan 1013. SNG von Aulock 2868-9. Weidauer 86-89. Nice and attractive. Good very fine.
