Tarsos. Mazaios, Satrap of Cilicia, 361/0-334 BC. Stater (Silver, 25mm, 10.76 g 10). B'LTRZ (in Aramaic) Baaltars seated left on backless throne, draped to the waist and with a cloak over his shoulder, holding long scepter topped by an eagle in his right hand and with his left at his waist; to left, grain ear Rev. Lion left, attacking bull right; club to upper left, B to upper right, crenelated walls below. Casabonne series 1. SNG France 365. Nicely toned. Minor roughness, otherwise, good very fine.
