Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18mm, 3.38 g 7), Rome, 125-128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on left shoulder. Rev. COS III Roma seated right on cuirass ornamented with Medusa head, holding branch in her right hand and scepter; her left arm set on cuirass. BMC 374. Cohen 341. RIC 165. A lovely example of impressive style. Beautifully toned. Good very fine.
