Valerian I, 253-260. Denarius (Bronze, 20mm, 3.32 g 7), a contemporary cast imitation of a Viminacium issue, c. 254-256. IMP VALERIANVS P AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Valerian to right. Rev. VIRTVS AVGG Valerian standing left, his right foot set on helmet, holding globe in his right hand and spear in his left. Cohen -. RIC -. MIR - (cf. 830s for Gallienus). Very rare. Good fine.
