Victoria, laureate head left; beaded inner circle; VICTORIA QUEEN around, 1860 below / Britannia in flowing robes seated left on a rock; beaded inner circle; GREAT BRITAIN ONE PENNY around above and below. Peck 2110 (R). F. 837 (R16, 51-100 population). Extremely Fine; weakly struck on a thin flan (insufficient die pressure), a fascinating piece. The Frank Robinson Collection. Moore was a Birmingham die sinker who submitted various proposed designs should the change actually come about.
