Mint State. Though the US Mint did not do anything special for any of the sets other than 1965 through 1967, the coins were taken from the production line and packaged for the sets. Consequently, the "bagginess" that can result from mint bags or rolled coins does not affect these examples which tend to be among the best circulation strikes available. The estimate is well under the 2017 Red Book value of over $675 and reflects current wholesale listing.Special Mint Sets were issued for 1965, 66 and 67, years in which no proof sets were issued.
