THESSALY, Ainianes. Circa 350s-340s BC. AR Hemidrachm (16mm, 2.49 g, 11h). Hypata mint. Laureate head of Zeus left / AINIANΩΝ, the hero Phemios standing right, holding petasos and drapery, preparing to hurl javelin; sideways Φ on ground line below. Liampi, Beitrag Group I; BCD Thessaly I 1012 (same dies); BCD Thessaly II 26 (same obv. die); HGC 4, 38 (same dies as illustration). Good VF, toned, minor porosity.
