Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. A lovely portrait and a fine green
patina with a slightly rough surface, otherwise about extremely fine

This obverse die represents, in my opinion, the best portrait style of Vitellius. Not surprisingly another coin with this particular obverse die was chosen by Kurt Lange in his book "Herrscherköpfe des Altertums" of 1938. An exceptional bronze coin. AMP.
