Didius Julianus, 28 March – 1st June 193

Didius Julianus, the rich senator who bought the throne, appears with a long beard. Some of his portraits seem rather generic while others are more individual. Still no obviously different portrait types seem to exist. AMP.

Struck on a broad flan and complte. Good very fine
