Denarius 201-206, AR 3.57 g. ANTONINVS – PIVS AVG Laureate and draped bust r. Rev. IMP ET CAESAR AVG FILI COS Caracalla and Geta seated facing on curule chairs on platform; behind them, in the background, a facing half-length figure (Septimius?). C 93. BMC Septimius and Caracalla 278A. RIC 75.
Very rare. Struck on a large flan with an interesting reverse
representation. About extremely fine / extremely fine

Illustrated on www.romancoins.info, section imagines imperatorum.
Here Caracalla appears as an adolescent young man without a beard. Worth mentioning is the rare reverse of the two brothers and their father on a platform. AMP.
