I detect two portrait types for Valerian I, one with a beard and another one without. AMP.

Sestertius 255-256, Æ 14.30 g. IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r. Rev. VICTORIA AVGG / S – C Victory standing l., holding wreath in r. hand and palm in l. C 233. MIR 76. RIC 178. A very attractive portrait. Brown-green patina heavily tooled on reverse,
otherwise good very fine / about very fine
