Honorius, 393 – 423

As for his brother Arcadius there are portraits of Honorius as a child, and later as adult man. Very rare are portrait types for Honorius on Solidi with a beard and wearing a helmet. Examples will be presented in the upcoming Roman portraitbook (see introduction to this catalogue). AMP.
