Struck to commemorate politician Li Hung-chang's trip to Germany. Obv. Facing bust of Emperor Kuang Hsu with small dragon at left. Rev. Facing bust of Tsu-Hi. Struck in bold, matte-like relief, with lead-gray toning and only light marks. A very scarce medallic issue and the first we have offered.
