People's Republic bi-metallic Proof "Y2K" 50 Yuan 2000 PR69 Deep Cameo PCGS, KM1333, Fr-219. Mintage: 20,000. Struck to commemorate the year 2000, this bi-metallic issue contains a 1/2 ounce of gold and a 1/20 ounce of silver. The inner portion of the obverse presents vibrant golden mirrors surrounded by a matte-textured argent ring, while the reverse is fully golden, showing a playful mixture of reflective and satin finishes that nicely contrast one another. Nearly flawless as the grade indicates, and produced in a rather small quantity.
