Meiji Yen Year 7 (1874) AU Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, KM-YA25.1, JNDA 01-10. Counter-Clockwise Spiral variety. Light handling defines the grade, but has limited impact on the eye-appeal. The first year of "new" Yen type after the 1870 issue and very scarce at any grade.
