Indonesia Irian Barat Issue 1; 2 1/2; 5; 10; 100 Rupiah 1960-61 (1963) Pick R1; R2; R3; R4; R5. A complete PCGS graded set including the scarce 100 Rupiah. This is our first offering of the 100 Rupiah. This issue is technically referred to as the West Irian Rupiah. West New Guinea (now the West Papua Region in Indonesia) was not completely under the control of Indonesia due to the political climate stemming from Dutch colonial times. This paper money was used in the region for about ten years. The 2 1/2 and 5 Rupiah grade Gem New 66PPQ, the 1 Rupiah is Gem New 65PPQ, and the 10 and 100 Rupiah are Choice New 63PPQ.
