China Bank of Communications 500 Yuan 1941 Pick 163. One of the final notes printed by this private bank, and fittingly a large denomination with detailed depictions of infrastructure on both sides. Like large denomination notes of the other two private banks of the era (Farmers Bank and the Bank of China), this note also fell victim to the inflationary printings of the Central Bank of China, which led to their rapid redemption.
