China Deutsch-Asiatische Bank Peking $100 1.7.1914 Pick S277r Remainder. An exhilarating example of the highest denomination issued for the Peking Branch. This German influence bank was first established in Shandong Province, but as commerce grew, also opened branches in other large cities. Unfortunately, Germany had to give up almost all of its overseas interests at the end of World War I, including those in China. This denomination is known largely as Specimens, as they were prepared and delivered near the end of World War II. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
