China International Banking Corporation Tientsin 1.7.1918 Pick S431s Specimen. A Tientsin place of issue is seen on this Specimen prepared by the American Bank Note Company. It has a great deal of top selvage that includes a rubber stamped date of "Aug 14 1918," a control number of "F-5676," and paper guide line markers on both sides. We also see the printing term "Gripper" which for certain printing presses is one of a number of fingerlike devices used for gripping a sheet and transferring it to or from the printing surface. 4 POCs.
