Netherlands Indies De Javasche Bank 200 Gulden 32.6.1968 (1938-39) Pick 82s Specimen. Your eyes are not deceiving you as this Specimen was given a fictitious date of "32 6 68" by printer JEZ that turned out to be long after most of the Netherland Indies had gained their independence from the Dutch in 1949. Also, the roulette cancelled date on this note is "34 5 68." There are no official reasons on record given for the practice of using fictitious dates such as these on Specimens.
