In 1949 Inspector Khetani translated Bishop E. Steer's and Reverend Canon Hellier's "Swahili Exercises" into Gujarati and published it in Rajkot, India, with a donation from the Zanzibari merchant family of Shet Chaganlal Mulji Valji Suchak.
