Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.83 g, 6h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia?). Struck circa 18 BC. S P Q R PAR[ENT] above, CONS • SVO below, toga picta over tunica palmata flanked on left by aquila and on right by wreath / CAESAR[I] above, AVGVST[O] in exergue, triumphal quadriga advancing right, ornamented with one Victory and surmounted by a small galloping quadriga. RIC I 99; RSC 78b; BMCRE 399 = BMCRR Rome 4437; BN 1187-90. Good VF, toned.
