Valens. AD 364-378. AR Siliqua (18mm, 2.06 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation. Imitating Sirmium mint issue. D N VALENS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / VOTIS/XXX/MVLTIS/XXXX in four lines, all within wreath; SIRM. Apparently unpublished without a known prototype. Good VF, toned, small flan crack. Interesting, possibly a Germanic imitation.
