NORTH MEXICO: AE 2 centavos, 1890, KM-NC22, contemporary fantasy pattern for the 80th Anniversary of Independence, NGC graded MS61 BR, R. In 1890, the Lauer firm in Nuremburg, Germany produced a series of 2 centavos patterns for each Mexican state. We would also guess that this piece was made by them at that time, but we have been unable to confirm that.
