SINKIANG: Second East Turkestan Republic, 1944-1949, AR medal (17.81g), 1946, 32mm, with original loop & hanger, shining star & crescent, sadaqat ("loyalty") below in Uighur script // punched date & award number (#521), EF-AU, RR. The East Turkestan Republic orders and medals were all instituted in 1945, the same year the Ili National Army was formed. They are little known and all extremely rare.
