A gorgeous piece accompanied by a booklet about the note itself. This piece is printed as a 5 Tomans note over a Germany Pick 46 note. Issued by German and Turkish forces during World War I. The type itself is heavily counterfeited, but we are fortunate to have a high grade, authentic example. Typically these notes are found with damage such as staining and burn marks. Seen here in original condition. This is the first of the type that we have offered and we expect spirited bidding. PCGS Choice About New 55 PPQ.
