MIXED LOTS. Empire & Provincial Issues, ca. 3rd to 4th Century A.D. FINE to EXTREMELY FINE.
Approximately 112 pieces in lot. A large grouping of bronze and some silver coinage issued by Septimius Severus to the end of the Western Roman Empire. Some scattered early Byzantine pieces are included as well. Highlights include an AR Denarius of Geta, an AE Sestertius of Balbinus and an AE Sestertius of Pupienus. Nearly every piece is in its own paper envelope with notes or in a plastic flip with some attribution information. Some surface issues are present in the group, including some mild deposits, scratches or other issues. Close inspection is advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. FINE to EXTREMELY FINE.
