BRAZIL. 6,400 Reis (Peca), 1735-B. Joao V (1706-50). NGC AU-58.
Fr-51; KM-151; LDMB-O135. RARE early Bahia Mint issue and one of the keys to the extensive series of Joao V. An excellent example with only a few hints of having been handled at all. The satiny surfaces still retain essentially every bit of luster granted by the sharp strike. The reverse arms show all the minute texture and detail of their original design and every denticle at the rim could be counted. A few stray light bag marks are present but none blatant enough to draw the eye and are mentioned here solely for accuracy. The highest graded example of the scant few which have been certified thus far and most likely one of the nicest available today. NGC AU-58.
