GERMANY. 5 Mark, 1927-A "Oaktree". Berlin Mint. NGC PROOF-66.
KM-56. Eye catching proof with striking iridescent colored toning throughout the surfaces. The obverse exhibits electric blue in the legends and bright apricot hues towards the center while the reverse has similar blue in the legends while the centers have streaky oxblood and maroon. Despite this thick full toning luster still booms out from the surfaces illuminating the sharply defined devices. Tied with seven other pieces in this numeric grade with some of those being given cameo and ultra cameo designations, two pieces graded one point finer. NGC PROOF-66.
