33.29 mm; 17.4 gms. Witt-2239. By F. A. Schega. Armored and uniformed bust of Maximilian III Joseph right; Reverse: Bust of Maria Anna Sofia left. Struck in the weight of five Ducats. VERY RARE and quite lovely with the busts rendered in a beautiful classic style. Very lustrous throughout the fields interrupted by light handling marks in the soft gold. Some mild orange gold toning found in the more protected periphery making for a nice contrast with the frosted light colored devices. NGC MS-61.
