GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Sovereign, ND (ca. 1544-47). Tower Mint. Henry VIII (1509-47). PCGS AU-50 Secure Holder.
S-2295; Fr-167; N-1827; Woodhead-616. Struck on a slightly wavy flan giving a few areas of weakness with relief. Legends are full and legible and the portrait of the robust enthroned king is complete down to the heavy lidded facing gaze. No adverse marks and only some light old wear to high points. Toned pale orange surfaces. PCGS AU-50 Secure Holder.
