GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Pound, ND. Elizabeth I (1558-1603). NGC MS-62.
S-2520; Fr-203; cf.N-1982; Woodhead-738. Beaded inner border with cross crosslet mint mark. A slightly uneven strike having a rather weak "E" on reverse and the bottom of Queen's dress but the majority of the legends are exceptionally bold. Very well kept showing no adverse signs of handling and no detracting marks. Attractive yellow gold luster throughout most of the surfaces. A choice example and very desirable. The second finest example of type yet certified. NGC MS-62.
