29 mm. Eimer-80a; MI-I, 191/11. Laureate, armored and draped bust of James I right; Reverse: Crowned rampant lion holding beacon lamp and sheaf of wheat left. Well struck and lightly handled piece showing only a light brush of wear to cheek and lion's nose. No signs of contact or surface issues. Deep old cabinet toning with medium gray devices giving way to some gunmetal blue hues in the fields. Very attractive and seldom offered. PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder.
