GREAT BRITAIN. Unite, ND. Tower Mint. Charles I (1625-49). NGC AU-58.
S-2692; Fr-246; KM-153; N-2153; Woodhead-149; Brooker-85. Long haired bust with lace collar and unjewelled crown. Portcullis mint mark. A bit weak in a few areas of the center but quite bold in peripheries and shield. Die clearly a bit worn with a few cracks and brush lines evident. A pleasing example all the same with no detracting signs of mis-handling or extensive circulation. Toned a nice golden orange in outer and protected areas. Lustrous and attractive. NGC AU-58.
