S-3230; Peck-390. EXTREMELY RARE. Struck in copper. Plain edge. Dies engraved by David Ramage. "OLIVAR PRO ENG SC I R L" Laureate and draped bust of Oliver Cromwell facing right, all within inner beaded border, star above bust in the legend; Reverse: "CHARITIE AND CHANGE" Crowned shield of the Protectorate, lion at center. Nicely struck with attractive even brown surfaces. Well detailed and highly attractive. NGC AU-58 BN.
