HUNGARY. Pattern 100 Pengo Piefort Struck in Gold, 1938-BP UP. PCGS SP-64 Secure Holder.
cf.Fr-595; cf.Bruce-Pn41; cf.Huszar-2305a. Patterned edge. Restrike from the 1960s. Bright fully lustrous surfaces and clearly a bit heftier than the normal weight version. A few small wisps in the fields are the only surface disturbances and the rims are free of any bumps or signs of handling. Some light toning beginning at the outer periphery. PCGS SP-64 Secure Holder.
