Fr-622/6; KM-PS8; Huszar-2367/71. Struck to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ignaz Semmelweiss. Mintage of only 7,000 sets. As individual pieces, the mintages range from the 50 Forint (Otven) with a mintage of 25,000 pieces; the 100 Forint (Szaz) with a mintage of 23,000 pieces; the 200 Forint (Ketszaz) with a mintage of 13,500 pieces, the 500 Forint (Otszaz) with a mintage of 9,000 pieces; and the 1,000 Forint (Ezer) with a mintage of only 7,000 pieces which was only issued in proof sets.
