Fr-59 (under France); KM-58; Berman-1787. RARE gold multiple struck for the Papal enclave located in south eastern France. Mild doubling in the face and some outer lettering but the image of the Pontiff is clear and much detail given in his vestments. Old orange gold toning creeps in from the periphery and attests to the unfettered nature of the surfaces. NGC AU-58.
