MEXICO. 2 Escudos, 1742-MF. Philip V (1700-46). NGC VF-35.
Fr-10; KM-124; Cal-Type 88 #368. A RARE type in practically any grade. Grade might be a bit conservative on account of probable flatness to the portrait strike as is commonly found with the extensively coiffured visage of Philip V. Circulation wear is present to be sure but the fields are not overly marked and a generous amount of fresh luster can be found among the outer legends and even some clinging to the inner devices. A very presentable example of a difficult type to obtain. NGC VF-35.
